This wine-country residential renovation in Calistoga, Napa Valley reimagined a former garage into a warm, elegant living space designed for relaxation and entertaining. The project required thoughtful space planning and interior architecture to ensure the new room felt cohesive with the existing home.

Maquette Interior Design developed a palette inspired by the client's bold color preferences and the landscape, incorporating natural materials, custom millwork, and layered textiles to create a welcoming atmosphere. The result is a space that feels both elevated and deeply connected to its setting.

Modern Wine Country Residence - Calistoga, Napa Valley

A Handsome, Light Filled Kitchen

For this Cole Valley residential renovation, Maquette Interior Design was brought in by both the client and architect to guide the interior design and finishing selections for a fully renovated home. Our role focused on helping the client with the multitude of material, fixture, window treatment, lighting and color decisions required in a renovation of this size. We also guided furnishings decisions.

We collaborated closely on the selection of interior and exterior paint colors, flooring, lighting fixtures, and hardware, and provided design guidance for custom cabinetry and stained glass window detailing. Once the renovation was complete, we helped arrange the client’s existing furniture, sourced key new pieces and accessories, and designed and managed all custom window treatments to fully complete each room.

The result is a handsome, cohesive San Francisco home that feels both architecturally grounded and highly personalized to the client’s taste—demonstrating the impact of careful design stewardship during the final, critical stages of a renovation.

Dolores Park Home

For this modern family home in Noe Valley, San Francisco, Maquette Interior Design provided full-service residential interior design, furnishing every room in the home from concept through completion.

The project offered an opportunity to push creative boundaries through the use of bold color combinations, expressive patterns, and layered textiles, while ensuring the spaces remained functional and comfortable for family living. Our scope included developing the overall color palette, selecting furnishings throughout, and designing and managing custom window treatments to unify the interiors.

Modern Family Home - Noe Valley, San Francisco

Pacific Heights Home

Our clients moved into this home, so a great deal of our focus initially was on placing/arranging their current furniture as well as filling in the missing pieces as quickly as possible so the family of five could be up and running quickly. Some of those items we oversaw procuring included a custom square kitchen table and pin-board, custom entry hall table, fill-in furnishings for all rooms as wells as pillows, throws, lighting, window treatments and carpets.

Small Cow Hollow Apartment, San Francisco

This French Country–inspired pied-à-terre in Cow Hollow, San Francisco was fully reimagined through a comprehensive residential renovation and interior design process. When Maquette Interior Design first encountered the apartment, it was in significant disrepair and required a complete transformation. But we knew the bones were great and took on the project.

We provided full-service residential interior design, overseeing every phase of the project—from renovation planning and material selection to custom furnishings and final styling. The design blends classic European influences with a refined, modern sensibility, resulting in a home that feels both elegant and highly livable.

This contemporary flat in Mayfair, London was furnished on an accelerated timeline for an executive relocation. We provided furniture planning, procurement, and full outfitting to ensure the residence was move-in ready and tailored to the client’s needs.

We developed a complete furniture layout and furnishings plan, sourcing pieces that balanced comfort, sophistication, and durability for city living. Working closely with local providers and shopping antique shops and flea markets, we curated and procured furnishings that reflected a refined, contemporary aesthetic while meeting a tight delivery schedule.

SOMA Loft, San Francisco

For this industrial loft residence in South of Market (SoMa), San Francisco, Maquette Interior Design was engaged to refurnish and reimagine the space for a newly married couple with a shared love of modern, expressive design.

The clients were drawn to design-forward yet quirky furnishings, combining found objects with contemporary pieces, along with a strong appreciation for color, nature, and individuality. Our approach focused on softening the loft’s industrial architecture while allowing the furnishings and finishes to bring warmth, character, and personality to the open-plan space.

Through thoughtful furniture planning, layered textiles, and a curated mix of materials, the loft was transformed into a vibrant, welcoming home that feels personal, livable, and distinctly reflective of the couple’s style.
