Victorian Home Renovation-Cole Valley, San Francisco

For this Cole Valley residential renovation, Maquette Interior Design was brought in by both the client and architect to guide the interior design and finishing selections for a fully renovated home. Our role focused on helping the client with the multitude of material, fixture, window treatment, lighting and color decisions required in a renovation of this size. We also guided furnishings decisions.

We collaborated closely on the selection of interior and exterior paint colors, flooring, lighting fixtures, and hardware, and provided design guidance for custom cabinetry and stained glass window detailing. Once the renovation was complete, we helped arrange the client’s existing furniture, sourced key new pieces and accessories, and designed and managed all custom window treatments to fully complete each room.

The result is a handsome, cohesive San Francisco home that feels both architecturally grounded and highly personalized to the client’s taste—demonstrating the impact of careful design stewardship during the final, critical stages of a renovation.
